The Southwest Bell Ringing Course

Getting the Facts

Costs

The cost includes full use of the college facilities, tower donations, accommodation and meals from the Saturday afternoon until the Tuesday afternoon. This includes:

  • Breakfast (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
  • Evening Meals (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
  • Sunday Lunch

  • ...plus tea, coffee and biscuits in the morning and afternoon.

Lunches are not included (except for Sunday), as these are generally taken between tower practical sessions. Some groups arrange to visit a local pub, others will prefer to take a packed lunch. Ask your tutor if you have any doubts.

Final Application and Payment Deadlines

The final deadline for applications is 13th June 2026, after which the applications will be considered together and are NOT on a first-come-first-served basis.

On confirmation of a place, payment will be requested by BACS or cheque  by 10th August 2026. If we haven't received payment by midnight on 10th August, then the student's place will be lost and the place will be allocated to someone else on the waiting list.

Cancellations

Every effort will be made to run the course but there may be circumstances beyond our control which would mean the course may be cancelled without liability.

If you need to cancel after you have made your course payment, please contact Phil Dunn 07753425846 at the earliest opportunity and we will endeavour to replace you from our waiting list. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to refund you.

It is strongly recommended that you get holiday insurance cover, so that any last-minute problems will not cause any financial loss.
